Saabs United Gb at Festival of the Dead
Event Synopsis
Our first visit to Burleigh House for this new event for 2023.
We have managed to secure a stand for Saabs at this new event. Although we are still in the process of organising behind the scenes. Below is the synopsis of the event from the hosts website.
Welcome to Festival of the Dead Car Show - a gathering of timeless classic vehicles celebrating marques that are no longer with us.
The Venue is Burghley House, Stamford, PE9 3JY on Sunday 2nd July 2023 (10.00 am to 4pm) access to show field is from 8.00am. Please present your printed tickets or show the marshals the ticket QR code on your phone to gain entry to the show field.
Tickets are charged per vehicle and will cover the driver and all passengers in your vehicle, including children. When booking, please select the marque of your vehicle from the drop-down list. If your vehicle is not listed but the manufacturer HAS ceased production, please select the ‘Other Not Listed’ option at the bottom of the list.
If your vehicle is not eligible for the show and you share our appreciation for classic marques no longer manufactured, you are still welcome to visit the show for a great day out and to see the amazing selection of cars on show. To purchase a ticket for non-eligible vehicles, please select ‘Non Eligible Vehicle (current manufacturer)’ from the drop-down list of vehicles. Non-eligible vehicles will be parked in their own space with other similar cars away from the main show area.
All profits from this fantastic day will be sent to Mission Motorsport. If you would like to find out more or choose to donate further to this marvelous charity please visit their website. www.missionmotorsport.org
To gain half-priced entry to the House and Gardens, please present your show entry ticket at the Venue reception. The House also has a great restaurant for sit-down meals or take a stroll along to the Café where you’ll find a tasty selection of refreshments and light lunches. There’ll also be a refreshments stall on the main show field, and if it is a hot day (which of course we hope it will be!), the delicious ice cream parlour will be open too.
We hope you enjoy the event and please tag @festivalofthedeadcarshow on social media so that we can share your experiences of the day!

Saabs United GB, Wings and Wheels 2024
25.5.24 1030 - 1600

Event Synopsis
Our next National Event.
Our fifth event after the amazing turnout last year, created for every Saab owner. We have chosen Newark Air Museum for the third year running due to the superb facilities and scenery to create this amazing opportunity for everyone across the UK and beyond. We aim to se the day off with convoys from around the country again, as we have done on previous years. Giving you all the opportunity to travel with other Saab owners into the event. Set in the heart of Nottinghamshire, we have got a venue as central as was possible. Our cars will be parked around the museum grounds. With over 100 Aircraft including 3 Saab airframes, Tuners, Trade stands and boot sale items, we have created an opportunity rarely open to the public.
Entry costs will be £15.00 per Car, based on 2 adults. With further Adults being £15, Concessions @ £12.50 and Children being £9.50. With further tickets for this year for spectators and their families too. You may also wish to have a photo by the Aircraft, which will be marshalled on a first come basis on the day with SaabsUnitedGB staff.
Newark Air Museum, offers a café that serves both hot and cold food, as well as this, 3 hangars, housing the 3 Saab airframes which are open to view for us. Toilet blocks, first aid, play area, various museum buildings. Complete with a gift shop, there is plenty to see and do along with some great cars and new people to meet. The venue was primarily chosen because it offers so much for the family.
With so much to see and do at this unique venue, you will definitely be wanting to return to explore more. Our event is family friendly along with well behaved dogs (on lead only please), with great access for the less able. The venue certaily does cater for all.
The venue itself is situated just off the A1/A46/A17 junction at Newark, and is one of the largest volunteer managed aviation museums in Great Britain.
This event was designed to be an affordable fun day out for the Saab enthusiasts and the whole family,
