The origins of Saabs United Gb, started out as a low cost 1 day National Event organised by Saab enthusiasts for Saab enthusiasts.. We wanted to give something back to those who dedicate their weekends to keeping the brand alive, as well as those that rely on their cars for daily use.

Our Story

We Started out in 2018, at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum, Under the Wings of a Lancaster Bomber, 44 cars attended on a beautiful summers day, With fantastic photo opportunities, charity raffle and an excellent venue. It was a great start to our events future.

2019, we returned to Lincolnshire, after enjoying the venue previously. We had 79 cars attend, despite the bad rain, it turned out to be just as good as 2018. With Noob tune attending too.

Then came 2020 and 2021. What can we say. Lockdowns, furlough, social distancing and no car events on our calendars. Everyone was longing for normality.

With 2022, came our third event. With less time to set up, Olli and Darren put their heads together and worked tirelessly to create an epic comeback event, This time the location moved to Newark Air Museum. Our first event with Suffolk Saab attending, the second year for Noob Tune too. We had 189 Cars attend, our biggest yet. With 100 aircraft, 3 Saab Airframes amongst them. A small auto jumble. Charity Auction, cockpit experiences, great photo opportunities, everywhere you looked. The range of Saabs was so diverse.
